Recently I seem to have become Ms Thrifty. I've always picked up the odd piece from vintage/second hand shops and I attempt to bid on a lot of pieces on ebay :) but recently I just seem to have ended up buying quite a few pieces over the course of two or three weeks. I feel like I have developed a better nose for it over time because I definitely don't think thrift shopping is easy. It takes a keen eye, a no nonsense attitude and an awareness of what actually fits/suits your body. One of my recent finds was this jumper. I think I paid between 4 and 6 pound for it and I am extremely pleased. It is so sparkly.... :) I found it in Armstrong's, which is a second hand/vintage chain shop in Edinburgh, there are three, and it is a real pleasure to shop in. If anyone is interested in seeing my other recent second hand discoveries let me know and I'll post some pictures. Otherwise my skirt is from Urban Outfitters and is one of my proudest purchases of 2012 so far as I have been wearing it non stop, my ring is also from Asos, a sale bargain :).
